big city dreaming: week i (a photo diary)

Hello folks!

For (about) the past two weeks, I have been roaming around New York City. Okay, not exactly roaming the whole time, but I was at digital media camp. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, hands down, and being that it was my first time in the city, I tried to soak in as much as I could.

The view from the Empire State building.

The first seven days were dedicated to learning more about the world of digital media and the basics of broadcasting, filmmaking, and cinematography. The program was held at Fordham University, which wasn't too shabby.

Fordham's campus and inside the dorm.

The week was a whirlwind of early starts, late night, coffee, cereal, writing, and filming. It was a great experience and I learned a lot. I met so many amazing, amazing people and I am very grateful and fortunate for the opportunity.

Quick trips to Times Square // Shots during a newscast on the subway.

Of course, I had to put a compilation of the weeks outfits here. Here are some, um, attempts, at business casual.

Afterwards, I was able to explore the big city for about another week. Check that out in the next post!
